The fastest route to a first working agent

If you just want to try something out:

  1. Inbound Workflows → Create.
  2. Configuration: name, description, primary language, timezone, voice.
  3. Builder: write the prompt — or start from a template via Prompt Library, or describe in a sentence what the agent should do via Generate with AI.
  4. Properties: click Add example fields (callerName, phoneNumber, email, reservationId) or add your own.
  5. Integration: an Email action that sends you a summary after every call.
  6. Deploy to Phone or Deploy to Web.
  7. Call Now — test call.

See Build Your First Workflow for this same path spelled out step by step.

Important: that is a prototype, not a production-ready agent.

For a production-ready agent, work through the full path above — especially Writing the Prompt, Pronunciation, and Test.
